Lakeshore Honors Veterans

UNDATED (WHTC) – Veterans Day observances were held along the Lakeshore and across the country today. Retired US Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Richard Vandepels talked about keeping this day in perspective during his keynote remarks at the 78^th annual Holland High ceremony; the audio of which can be downloaded or listened for free at WHTC-dot-com. West Ottawa High honored alum Andrew Seif, a Marine Staff Sergeant killed in a helicopter crash during a training exercise in the Gulf of Mexico this past March. The Holland Area Veterans Council has a 7 PM program in the Commons of Evergreen.
