HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – West Ottawa High School will honor one of it’s own tomorrow on Veterans Day.
Staff Sergeant Andrew Seif, a 2006 graduate will be paid a special tribute during the morning observation that will kick off with a veterans breakfast at 8 a.m. Seif was amoung 11 people killed when a Black Hawk heliciopter went down off the Florida Panhandle during a nighttime training exercise on March 10, 2015.
A tribute video will be shown at the West Ottawa observation at 8:45 a.m. and will be followed by a welcome and entrance of veterans and their introduction.Congressman Bill Huizenga will be on hand as well as guest speaker Gunnery Sergeant David A. Pizana,who was a close friend of Seif’s and served with him on multiple tours with the Marines.
The West Ottawa High School Choir will perform “Let Freedom Ring” at tomorrows event.
