HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Greater Ottawa County United Way is sending out 200 volunteers to 40 homes around Ottawa County during their annual Rake-a-Difference this Saturday November 7.
In honor of Veteran’s Day, United Way sponsors and coordinates the event which bring volunteers together to help local people and neighborhoods that need help with fall clean up due to physical or financial limitations.
State Representative Amanda Price will be out raking during the event at 701 136th St. In Holland. Some of the groups participating include, Home Depot in Grand Haven, Grand Haven Leadership Connect and Creative Dining Services of Holland.
The weather should be perfect with sunny skies and a high of 50 degrees.
