KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO) – The First Lady of Michigan has taken a lead role in the effort to curb sexual assaults on campus.
Sue Snyder will be visiting Western Michigan University on November 9 to give an address on the subject as part of a series of forums, speeches and meetings on the issue. It may have something to do with the fact that her youngest daughter is now a sophomore at the University of Michigan.
Mrs. Snyder says she would like to make Michigan a model for the rest of the nation on how they deal with on-campus sexual abuse.
