HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Michigan State Police will be working with Kent and Ottawa Counties to help those in need this holiday season. The campaign is called “Stuff A Blue Goose For Christmas.”
The “Blue Goose” is what law enforcement refer to to as a Michigan State police patrol car. They are planning on having a MSP patrol car with Troopers at two Walmarts stores, one in Grand Haven and the other in Wyoming.
The event is December 6 from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. In the six hour period, they are asking for as many new toys, new clothing and non-perishable food items as possible. All of the items will be turned over to the Salvation Army for distribution to families in need in both Kent and Ottawa Counties.
