LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The state Department of Health and Human Services announced Medicaid Health Plans recommended for Michigan’s Comprehensive Health Plan contract for the state’s 10 regions, covering about 1.7 million beneficiaries. Starting on January 1st, those in Allegan and Ottawa counties will choose between Blue Cross, McLaren, Meridian, Molina, Priority Health and United Health Care, while in Van Buren County, Aetna replaces Priority Health on that list. The new plans will continue to carve in pharmaceutical drugs and will add a common formulary for all managed care entities.
