Holland BPW Board Considers Retaining Firm for Broadband Improvements

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – During today’s Holland Board of Public Works board meeting, members will be asked to retain Maryland-based CTC Technology and Energy, at a cost of nearly 50 thousand dollars, to conduct an engineering survey and formulate a business plan for expanding and enhancing the utility’s Broadband fiber optic network. In addition, the board will also decide whether to approve a performance-based compensation payment of 5.77 percent for eligible professional employees, based on results from a review of the success of implementing the BPW’s Fiscal 2015 Strategic Plan.
