Suspect in Hamilton-Area Assault of Woman in Parked Car Sought

MANILUS TWP., MI (WHTC) – Allegan County Deputies are seeking a dark-skinned man with a stocky build after he allegedly assaulted a 25-year-old woman in her 136^th Avenue garage between Hamilton and Saugatuck around 6:20 AM this morning. The victim was in her vehicle, ready to go to work, when the suspect, wearing a hoodie, opened the door and pulled her out. She fended off the attack with only minor injuries and drove off to call for help. The suspect was last seen running behind an outbuilding on the victim’s property. Nearby Hamilton schools were briefly locked down as a precaution. Tips to the Allegan Co. Sheriff’s Dept. are welcome.
