HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – A four-vehicle pileup caused by a driver obeying the law and another not paying attention hospitalized a 43-year-old Holland man. Leonel Ortiz was taken to Holland Hospital in stable condition. The chain-reaction crash on Tuesday afternoon along James Street west of Beeline Road on Holland’s North Side began when the first driver halted suddenly for a stopped school bus with flashing lights, causing three trailing vehicles to ram each other from behind. Nobody else was hurt as James Street was closed momentarily to clean up the mess.
