OTTAWA COUNTY, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County has just announced that residents can now search the entire Register of Deeds database of public records for free using their main website, www.miottawa.org.
Ottawa County Clerk/ Register Justin Roebuck says that “it will now be easier than ever before for residents to search and verify their deeds, mortgages and other public records related to their property.”
Using the database, visitors to the website can search by name, data range, document type or parcel number. While viewing the records on www.miottawa.org is free, downloading or printing them off your computer constitutes a $1.00 fee per page.
