HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – An economic study by the Anderson Economic Group revealed that the 2015 Tulip Time Festival generated nearly 13 million dollars of new economic activity in the Holland Area. Overall attendance was estimated at half a million people, with reported ticketed attendees around 310 thousand. Festival officials looking to skew the event’s demographics toward a younger audience were pleased that 69 percent of all visitors during eight days of activities from May 2nd through the 9th were under retirement age. More information is on the festival’s website.
