HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The West Michigan Airport Authority invites the community to the new Airport Business Center and Aircraft Apron project Ground Breaking Ceremony this Monday September 21 at 11 a.m.
The Airport Authority says the 7,500 square foot building will be a a gateway to the community for those traveling by air and will reflect the economic vitality of the West Michigan area. Speakers at the ceremony will include Michigan State Senator Tonya Schuitmaker, Congressman Bill Huizenga and Chairman of Haworth, Inc., Matthew Haworth.
The building is expected to cost about $2 million and the total cost of all project aspects will be about $6.6 million.
The ceremony will be held at the end of Geurink Boulevard where the building construction site is located.
