LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley has just launched his own new “official” website.
The Governor’s office says it expands outreach to residents and improves communication, but political pundits in Lansing believe that it may be a step towards making a run for the GOP gubernatorial nomination in 2018 when Rick Snyder is term-limited out of office.
The site will keep track of the comings and goings of the Portland Republican, who has not made any public mention thus far of his future political ambitions.
There is also speculation that Attorney General Bill Schuette may also make a gubernatorial run, as he too is term-limited in 2018, but has still been actively raising campaign funds.
