ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – An Illinois woman and a two month old were involved in a single vehicle rollover crash in Zeeland Township yesterday afternoon.
Ottawa County Deputies were dispatched to Byron Road a quarter mile west of 64th Avenue when Laura Aguirre, 21, of Illinois was westbound on Bryon Road and distracted looking at her GPS.
According to Sgt. Kristie Wendt of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, Aguirre lost control of the vehicle, went off the roadway and struck a cement culvert.
Aguirre and her two-month-old passenger, Madlynn Bour who was properly restrained in a child restraining seat, were transp[orted to Zeeland Community Hospital.
They were treated for minor injuries and Aguirre was wearing her seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
