ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – After the markets closed on Wednesday, Herman Miller posted quarterly numbers of 565.4 million dollars in net sales, 563.3 million in new orders, and net earnings of 56 cents per share. Those figures are nearly 11 percent, nine percent and 14 cents per share better than the first three months of fiscal 2015. Chief Executive Officer Brian Walker said that the bottom line for the Zeeland-based office furniture maker reflected improvements in “a number of key areas.” Walker and other Herman Miller officials will go over the quarterly statement with investors and shareholders in a webcase on Thursday morning.
