MUSKEGON, MI (WHTC) – The Michigan Irish Festival kicks off this Friday at Heritage Landing in downtown Muskegon.
The festival will feature live Irish entertainment daily under five large uncovered stages from traditional Irish and folk music to contemporary Celtic rock. Irish dancing will fill the air all weekend as well as storytelling.
The festival features a Celtic Kitchen serving up traditional Irish dishes and the food court will feature festival favorites.
There are activities for all ages and an Irish market and store featuring everything from kilts to Irish wool sweathers right from Ireland. Jewelry, photos from Ireland, hats and golf items will be readily available for purchase too.
On Sunday a traditional Catholic Mass will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a traditional Irish breakfast.
Heritage Landing is located at 701 Shoreline Drive in Muskegon.
