LARAMIE, WY (WHTC) – A Holland pilot who survived two earlier plane crashes with one near Holland State Park this Summer, has now been in a third crash.
Steven Stam, 67, landed his plane on I-80 east of Laramie, Wyoming Friday evening on September 11.
Stam was flying a single-engine plane when it went down along a canyon section of I-80 known as “Telephone Canyon”. The plane did not strike any vehicles and the highway was open in both directions after the crash.
MLive reports Stam was taken to Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie for non-life-threatening injuries.
