Hope Tabs New Van Raalte Institute Leader

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Retired Western Theological Seminary President Dennis Voskuil was appointed Director of Hope College’s Van Raalte Institute. Dr. Voskuil was head of WTS for 14 years before stepping down in 2008, and was a one-time religious faculty member at Hope. He replaces Dr. Jacob Nyenhuis in leading the Institute that specializes in scholarly research and writing on immigration and the contributions of the Dutch and their descendents in the US. It has published 40 books over 21 years.
