NEW YORK (WHTC) – The Lakeshore’s four major beach communities placed in the top 10 of a new survey of Michigan’s best beach towns. Grand Haven topped the list compiled by New York-based Thrillist Media Group, with Holland third behind Muskegon, Saugatuck/Douglas fourth and South Haven eighth. The Thrillist website extolled the virtues of all four sites’ natural and commercial attractions with an emphasis for its young adult readership base.
