HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – Two persons from Holland were injured when a motorist struck a bicyclist on Holland’s North Side around 1:15 PM this afternoon. Deputies say that 52-year-old Douglas Kuker was pedaling eastbound on James Street against a red light on US-31 when he was hit by a northbound vehicle, driven by 48-year-old Sandra Voss. Kuker, who wasn’t helmeted, was taken to Holland Hospital in critical condition, while Voss, who couldn’t avoid the collision, also went to Holland Hospital in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation.
