GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – For the fourth time this year, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality will issue an Air Quality Alert for the entire Lakeshore. Tomorrow’s precaution due to hot, humid conditions that should elevate ozone levels mean that residents will be asked to cut down on various activities that contribute to ozone formation. There were just three Action Days in the region in 2014. Forecasters say that predicted storms for Labor Day afternoon should help snap the late summer heat wave.
