Low-Income Energy Assistance Available

LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Low-income families along the Lakeshore whose are served by Consumers Energy, DTE Energy or SEMCO Energy could again be eligible for assistance programs to meet costs and become or move towards self-sufficiency this winter. The three utilities were among 13 entities statewide that will share in an 89.5 million-dollar grant program from the Michigan Agency for Energy, pending approval by the State Administrative Board.
