CHICAGO, IL (WHTC) – A 44-year-old man from Holland was shot to death late Saturday in West Englewood on the South Side of Chicago.
Adrian Jeffries was standing on a sidewalk about 11:05 p.m when someone got out of a black SUV and opened fire, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was struck in the head and back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2 a.m., authorities said.
