HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Beginning today, Holland city and BPW crews are spending the next two months widening East 16th Street between Hoover Avenue and Waverly Road from two to five lanes. This includes: Adding a center turn lane; installing a new water main with limited storm sewer work; putting in new curbs and gutters with ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps; a new sidewalk and road resurfacing. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction throughout the duration of this project.
