HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Greater Ottawa County United Way is proud to announce that nearly $22,000 worth of school supplies and backpacks were collected during their third annual Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive.
On September 2 and 3, backpacks full of school supplies will be distributed to more than 1,000 local students at the Grand Haven and Holland Salvation Army locations. The campaign ran from July 27 through August 7 and Stuff the Bus is a collaboration of Greater Ottawa County United Way, The Salvation Army and Grand Haven Area Schools. Event sponsors are Fifth Third Bank, Huntington National Bank and Two Men and a Truck.
Several area companies throughout Ottawa county also hosted employee-only Stuff the Bus Drives.
