GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A two-vehicle crash in Grand Haven township sent four people to the hospital yesterday evening.
Amber Palmer, 26, of Grand Haven and her back seat passenger, a child in a restraining seat, were southbound on 172nd Avenue waiting to turn eastbound onto Comstock Street when Carl Henrichs, 82, of Grand Haven was northbound on 172nd Avenue on a green light. Palmer failed to yeild causing a collision according to Sgt. Jay Douglas of the Ottawa County Sheriffs Department.
Henrich’s passenger Barbara Henrichs, 79, of Grand Haven was injured along with her husband and treated for minor injuries.
The three adults were wearing their seatbelts and the child was in a child restraining seat. They were treated on the scene and then transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital for evaluation.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
