HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Holland Board of Public Works has once again received the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality’s Neighborhood Environmental Partners Program Award. The municipal utility was honored for collaborating with other local power providers and businesses through the annual Recycle Rewards event that properly disposes of old, inefficient appliances, giving donors rebates. The BPW has earned this award from the DEQ for the past five years.
