ALLENDALE, MI (WHTC) – Grand Valley State officials are crowing after being ranked 21st by Washington Monthly in its Best Master’s Universities annual national survey. The Lakers were tops in Michigan in the magazine’s evaluation of civic engagement, research and social mobility, with access and affordability also considered. GVSU was also tops in community service participation. Valparaiso led all 673 schools in the nationwide survey. Hope College was not mentioned as participating in this report.
