HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – During tonight’s Holland City Council meeting, members will be asked to approve a new annual lodging license for the Economy Inn off of US-31 and 16th Street. That license was revoked in early June due to numerous code violations, but a subsequent inspection has found that “the property meets the minimum requirements,” but that the second floor must be blocked off while three wooden stairways are completely replaced. The item is initially listed in the meeting’s consent agenda.
