LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The state Court of Appeals has upheld the double-murder conviction of Ryan Wyngarden, who was found guilty last year of murdering his sister Gail and her husband Rick Brink in their Park Township home 28 years ago. Wyngarden claimed that his own wife Pam was manipulated to turn state’s evidence against him, and his appeals attorney argued that critical defense testimony was erroneously blocked during the trial. Wyngarden is serving a life in prison without parole sentence.
