Generator Transit Completed Smoothly Across Holland

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The fourth and final heat recovery steam generator that the Holland BPW had shipped over from South Korea made its way to the Holland Energy Park construction site this morning. The generators will capture waste heat from the power generation process and use it to create steam needed to drive the turbine generator and ultimately an expanded downtown snowmelt system. One generator was conveyed from the Verplank Dock daily. The new plant should be operational in early 2017.
