JENISON, MI (WHTC) – A 65-year-old Grand Rapids man is in serious condition at Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital following an industrial accident in Jenison this morning. Sheriff’s deputies say that Huerto Gastar’s left hand was entangled by a roller mechanism in a wool compression machine at Nuwool Corporation’s Port Sheldon Street facility. Fellow workers were able to get Gastar’s hand out before first responders arrived. The incident remains under investigation.
