HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – Five youths, ranging in age from 13 to 16, are facing charges stemming from an overnight Tuesday burglary of Rose Park Christian Elementary School on Holland’s North Side. Three of the five were spotted by a patrolling deputy running across the school’s parking lot off of Butternut Drive prior to the discovery of the break in. Detectives then executed search warrants to recover electronic keyboards and Macbooks taken from the school, along with stolen items from other break ins that the five may have been involved in. Two of the accused are lodged in the Ottawa County Juvenile Detention facility, while the other three were released to the custody of their parents. No names were disclosed. The investigation remains open, and tips to Silent Observer are welcome.
