PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) – Officials of the Ottawa County Fair, which concluded its 57th annual run last Saturday, say that attendance was up for the six-day-plus event, although exact figures won’t be available until later this month. Board President Jeff Myaard estimates a total between 65 and 75 thousand people came to the Fairgrounds, not including another thousand who saw the pre-fair Marshall Tucker Band concert nine days ago. The return of a rodeo to a sold-out grandstand after a four-year absence also helped.
