LANSING, MI (WHTC) – League of Women Voters of Michigan officials told MIRS News that they plan to hold about 30 town hall meetings statewide next month about reforming the redistricting process. The organization hasn’t decided on whether these sessions will lead to a ballot proposal that would take this decision-making process out of the hands of the legislature and into an independent commission. It is not immediately known if the LMV of the Holland Area would host one of these town hall meetings.
