HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A presidential candidate’s father paid both Holland and Hamilton a visit yesterday to help promote his son’s campaign. The Holland Sentinel reports that Pastor Rafael Cruz, father of Texas Senator Ted Cruz, stopped at the Trestle Stop in Hamilton for breakfast Friday and then headed over to the Southside Inn on 35th Street in Holland from 10-11 am. Rafael Cruz is currently on a speaking tour of the U.S. to help his son’s campaign. Ted Cruz is among 17 other Republican presidential hopefuls.
