HOLLAND (WHTC) – Want to learn more about the Macatawa Watershed? The Outdoor Discovery Center and Macatawa Watershed Project are hosting the annual Macatawa Watershed Festival Saturday at Windmill Island Gardens. Activities include interactive educational experiences for kids where they can learn about how to help preserve Lake Macatawa. Kids can also fish for trout, kayak tours will be available, and you can even learn how to make a rain barrel. The festival supports Project Clarity, an ongoing private-public partnership to clean up Lake Mac. Activities begin at 11:30 a.m. and run until 5 p.m.. The event is free.
