KALAMAZOO, MI (WHTC) – The search is over for a 17-year-old Spring Lake Township girl who apparently ran away from home. Family members say that this was out of character for Kelsi Phillips, who left her 152nd Avenue residence on Tuesday morning. She had appeared on social media at times since then, but Phillips wasn’t seen in the flesh since Wednesday morning at a fast food restaurant in Spring Lake before she was spotted in Kalamazoo with an acquaintance. Sheriff’s deputies say that she was unharmed, had left on her own free will, and has now been reacquainted with her family. No foul play was ever believed to have happened in this matter.
