COOPERSVILLE, MI (WHTC) – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department is searching for 16 handguns stolen from a gun store in Coopersville over the weekend.
On Saturday morning at 1:21 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to The Pallidium Gun Shop at 158 Eastmanville Street on the report of the breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, deputies located a broken window on the south side of the store and searched inside the business for suspects.
According to Sgt. Bob Ruster of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, no suspects were located inside of the store and an Ottawa County kanine track was attempted from the point of entry and exit. The kanine track led north of the store but was then lost a few blocks away.
