GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – Ground was broken this morning for a three-story, 35 thousand-square foot Leadership Center on Grand Valley State’s Grand Rapids’ campus. Built in conjunction with Consumers Energy, the facility, when complete by late next year, will help in the professional development of the utility’s staffers through training sessions, new employee orientation, technical and safety training, and project management education and certification. Consumers will rent the property space from the school.
