ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Sherrif’s Deputies were dispatched to Buchanan Street and 92nd Avenue to an ATV crash yesterday evening.
Andrew Jongekrijg, 18, of Hudsonville, was driving a Honda Sport Track east on Buchanan behind Mason Zielinski, 20, of Wyoming who was driving a Honda 400 EX , when Jonekrijg slowed down to turn and was hit by Zielinski.
Jongekrijg was thrown from his ATV and suffered serious injuries. Zielinski suffered monor injuries and both were transported to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.
Neither drivers were wearing helmets. The crash remains under investigation.
