HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – For those who want to brave the summer heat today, Fulfilling Life Ministries of Holland will be holding “The Best Picnic in the Country” at Doug and Vivian Ver Hoevens’ farm for the seventh year in a row.
The picnic is specially designed to reach out to the Holland-area’s special need population, but everyone is still encouraged to come. There will be a live auction, a raffle, live music by Christian-friendly bands, hayrides, kid’s games and much more. The picnic will also have a BBQ dinner from 4-6:30 PM catered by Earl’s Meats.
The picnic is free to attend, but Fulfilling Ministries are accepting donations to help those with special needs. The picnic officially starts at 3:30 PM today and is located at A-5734 143rd Avenue on the south side of Holland.
