SPRING LAKE TWP., MI (WHTC) – A two-car crash overnight just west of Spring Lake hospitalized a 38-year-old Wyoming woman. Joni Johnson was taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital for treatment of shoulder and leg injuries after her westbound vehicle was broadsided by the auto of Ian Heil on Cleveland Street at 144th Avenue. The 18-year-old Fruitport man, who wasn’t hurt, admitted to deputies that he was too tired to spot the stop sign that he drove through and was ticketed. Both drivers were buckled up.
