PORT SHELDON TWP., MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detectives are hoping the release of images from surveillance video can help capture a suspect in a convenience store burglary last weekend. The unnamed man was described as light-skinned, 5-9 to 5-11, weighing around 200 pounds with a stocky build. He broke into Botello’s Party Store off of Lake Michigan Drive near US-31 south of Grand Haven around 3 AM. The owner, who lived in the building’s basement, heard glass breaking and saw the suspect fleeing on foot to a waiting small, newer-model, white four-door vehicle across the roadway that drove off to the east. Tips to Silent Observer are welcome.
