NORTON SHORES, MI (WHTC) – Norton Shores police are awaiting autopsy and toxicology results before determining just exactly what happened to Gregory Liphard. The 26-year-old Fruitport Township man may have been driving his car at over 100 miles per hour when he lost control on southbound US-31 near Airline Road early yesterday morning. The vehicle vaulted onto Seaway Drive, throwing the unbuckled driver onto the roadway. Liphard was pronounced dead at the scene.
