HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – This evening’s Holland City Council work-study session has a very light agenda, with only one item slated for discussion. Members will go over the plan for replacing all of the Tulip City’s high-pressure sodium bulbs with more efficient LED lights. At issue are 71 mid-street lights that city officials want removed before putting the LED illumination in, with two on Waverly Road and one on South Shore Drive possibly remaining for safety reasons at the request of nearby residents.
