HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Vendors at the Holland Farmers Market are not happy about a proposed 11-million dollar renovation for the Holland Civic Center and its adjacent property. Farmers who sell their produce at the market are critical of the plan, saying the plan to convert a main parking lot into a park setting would take away much needed parking space and potentially drive customers away from the market. City officials say the proposal is only a concept at this point. The City Council will discuss the project at a July 22nd work-study session.
