GRBJ: Chick-fil-A Buys Vacant Holland Restaurant Site

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – According to the Grand Rapids Business Journal, Atlanta-based restaurant chain Chick-fil-A has purchased the former Perkins site off of North Park Drive on Holland’s North Side as part of a planned expansion into Michigan. A private investment group sold the six thousand square-foot building for over 1.1 million dollars. No word on when Chick-fil-A would begin operations there. The chain’s only Michigan outlets right now are at Detroit Metro Airport and on the Oakland University campus in Rochester. The building has been vacant since Perkins pulled out of all company-owned operations in Michigan four years ago.
