HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 21-year-old Holland area man is in custody, and more arrests are “possible” after a cache worth around seven thousand dollars of stolen firearms, electronics and jewelry was seized from an apartment unit on Holland’s North Side during the early morning hours of Thursday. Sheriff’s deputies have been investigating a string of home burglaries over the past couple of weeks in the townships of Holland, Park and Olive, including one off of Blair Street near US-31 in Port Sheldon Township that led detectives to a residence in a subdivision off of Butternut Drive near Riley Street. Alexander Cervantes was arrested and arraigned on various charges; he remains held in the Ottawa County Jail on 10 thousand dollars bond. The matter remains under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer.
