HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – Sheriff’s deputies are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in a pre-dawn, head-on collision on Holland’s North Side that killed an 18-year-old Holland area woman. Marissa Kronemeyer died at the scene when an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line and smashed into hers as she was eastbound on Douglas Avenue near VanDyke Street. The other driver involved, 21-year-old Ronald Mancha of the Holland area, was critically injured and was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital. Two of his passangers, 23-year-old Patricia Peralas and 20-year-old Laura Castillo, were initially listed in serious condtion at Holland Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
